Equus Mountain Meadow Riding Stable
is nestled in the beautiful and panoramic Blue
Ridge Mountains at Clayton, Georgia. We specialize in privately
guided trail rides which offer our riders a personalized horseback riding experience.
Ken, your personal trail guide, has 10 years of experience taking our B&B guests
on trail rides and knows his horses well. He will make sure you are comfortable with the horse he chooses for you and will
give you riding tips to make your ride the BEST you have ever had! We happily allow trotting
and cantering, which is rare at stables today, but if you choose to just go for a walk, that's fine
too.
The maximum amount of persons we take per ride is 4, but
we will also take out single riders as well. We do them all by appointment only. The ride is 1-1/2 hours long through beautiful
trails in some hilly terrain, down lovely valley roads and mountain meadows past our lake and stream.

If you are a visitor to the area, for your convenience, we do recommend a Bed and Breakfast Inn & Rental Cabins that we personally have stayed with, which will enhance your visit
